Pheasant Hunts 

Cow Creek Ranch has been managing wildlife for 30 years.  We enjoy wildlife as much as ranching.  We have constantly tried to improve on habitat and wildlife management, making for a more successful and enjoyable hunt.  We have stocked a few pheasants in the past, so there are wild birds already located on the ranch.  We will continue stocking birds each year.  For the past several years we have been offering Pheasant, Chukkars, and Sharptail Grouse hunting on about six miles of the Cheyenne River and surrounding areas.  It is all located in a very remote part of the river bottom and river breaks allowing for a peaceful and uninterrupted hunt for you and your friends.  Your stay is sure to be relaxing and hopefully very memorable.  Bring your dogs if you wish.  If you don't have a dog or choose to not bring a dog we do have a dog to hunt with. For a warm up before the hunt, clay pigeons and a thrower are provided, right out the back door of the bunkhouse.  Give us a call we would love to hunt with you.

All hunts are scheduled with the SD Game Fish & Parks seasons.

The Bunkhouse

The Bunkhouse is 1200 square feet with full kitchen, bathroom with shower, and 3 bedrooms. There is a Queen Log bed in one with 2 sets of log bunkbeds in one and 1 set of log bunkbeds in the other. 

 
Pheasant Hunt:   $300/day lodging, guide, and meals.
Pheasant Hunt:   $200/day 
3 day Hunt: lodging, guide, and meals included: $800

Prairie Dog, Coyote, Fishing for Bass, Catfish, and Carp is included with all of our hunts and ranch vacation packages.
