Cow Creek Ranch and neighboring ranches (almost 200,000 acres) have been managing for Trophy Whitetail and Mule Deer since the early 1960s. You can see by the pictures that our program has been quite successful. References are available. We only take a limited number of hunters. So contact us early if you would like to hunt with us.

The Rifle Hunt is a fully guided 4 day hunt. Room and board provided. We never take more than 2 rifle hunters.

The archery hunt is a semi-guided hunt that last 6 days in very rugged river breaks and cedar trees. We will guide you over the ranch on your arrival. Most of our hunting is done from blinds. We will show you where most of the traffic is and help you find the right blind and area and help you get set up to have the best opportunity for taking a trophy. If you really want to spot and stalk we will get you started in the right areas away from where we are hunting from the blinds and stands. Lodging is in our ranch bunkhouse with fully equipped kitchen, shower, propane fireplace. Meals can be furnished if you like, just let us know, so the camp cook can prepare. It is 25 miles to a cafe or grocery store, you might not want to be traveling for food, so prepare before you get here. The Bunkhouse

The Bunkhouse is 1200 square feet with full kitchen, bathroom with shower, and 3 bedrooms. There is a Queen Log bed in one with 2 sets of log bunkbeds in one and 1 set of log bunkbeds in the other.

Semi-guided Archery Deer Hunt: $1250/6 1/2 days - add $210 for home cooked meals. The nearest town is 25 miles away. Meals are optional.

Guided Rifle Hunt: $3250/4 days

Cow Creek Hunts have been featured in Turkey Hunter Magazine, Bow Hunter, and Top Rated Bird Hunter.

All hunts are scheduled with the SD Game Fish & Parks seasons.

Prairie Dog, Coyote, Fishing for Bass, Catfish, and Carp is included with all of our hunts and ranch vacation packages.
