We have been guiding hunters for prairie Merriam Turkeys since 1985. We have very large flocks of Merriam Turkeys and there is a lot of open country, so if you have never hunted the prairie Merriam it will be a new and rewarding experience. Our turkey hunt is a 3 day hunt (shotgun or archery) with a guide who can help you with the calling or can point you in the right direction and pick you up later. Meals are good ranch cooking. Housing is in our ranch bunkhouse just 50' from the Cheyenne River. The spring season is the 1st or 2nd Saturday of April to mid Weekend in May. The fall season is October and November.
RATES: $700/3day hunt for first bird.
$400 more, if you decide to hunt for the second bird.
This hunt includes: guide, lodging, & home cooked meals. Does not
include licenses or state sales tax. Reservations and non-refundable deposit are required.

The Bunkhouse is 1200 square feet with full kitchen, bathroom with shower, and 3 bedrooms. There is a Queen Log bed in one with 2 sets of log bunkbeds in one and 1 set of log bunkbeds in the other.
All hunts are scheduled with the SD Game Fish & Parks seasons.
Prairie Dog, Coyote, Fishing for Bass, Catfish, and Carp is included with all of our hunts and ranch vacation packages.
